Seems the biggest howl from the right is that Biden was RUDE and was caught off to the side seen smirking sometimes while Ryan was talking (which often meant lying). The right ought to know about SMIRK as their candidate Romney wears one permanently. The Benghazi mess was probably the most damaging for Biden but glad that the VP wasn’t afraid to bring up that Ryan was one of the Congressional Republicans who DENIED funding of hundreds of millions to increase security at our hundreds of embassies and consulates around the World. The request for more security for Benghazi (as if anything short of a battalion could have prevented the raid) was made to a DEPUTY to an UNDERsecretary in the Department of State. I am sure the bulk of requests at that level never get heard by the White House which has so many other hot topics on their plates.

As a former Catholic, I appreciated Biden’s response that echos that of so many Catholics I know, that we have a right to our beliefs but have no right to impose them on others. A “big government” of the kind that Romney/Ryan supports would come between a woman and her doctor, even her clergy. I am still pro-life (even opposing the death penalty) but not so arrogant as to tell a woman she must endure 9 months of sometimes illness, even face death, to deliver a baby that is unwanted. Too many “unwanted” children are on our streets now. I have four precious Catholic grand nieces and nephews resulting from “in vitro” (which until recent years was banned by the Vatican). They still have some frozen embryos in storage that will probably not be used by my nephew and niece since they think four children are enough. A personhood law advocated by the right-wing could charge them with murder if their “extra” embryos remain frozen and eventually disposed. Contraceptives including the “morning after” pill could bring murder charges for a woman, and of course all doctors who help abort would be liable. IOW, we will be going back to abortion-parlors off alleyways and even rusty coat-hangers.

Think Progress documented 40 Ryan LIES in 90 minutes. No wonder VP Biden was chuckling, not believing the level of audacity of Ryan lyin’ with a straight face.

Remember the SIX studies that Ryan cited for his FACTS? Not unbiased exactly!
