I honestly think they’re hellbent on impeaching Obama for something, anything they can find.

The health care reform law calls for Medicaid to be opened to anyone earning up to 133 percent of poverty, which is about $15,300 for a single person this year. But the right-wing Supreme Court ruled that states may opt out, and about half have done so, as you noted, those states ruled by Republicans.  Sure, Roberts found the ACA as “legal” but also seemed to ensure it would have all of these problems. From Huffington: The Obama administration aims to sign up 7 million people for private insurance via the exchanges. This enormous task, challenging under ideal circumstances, is made more difficult by the decisions of many states — mostly Republican-led and including nearly the entire South — to resist the law’s implementation. As a result, the reach of Obamacare’s enrollment drive is expected to vary widely. Fewer uninsured people are expected to get coverage in places like Virginia, which is doing next to nothing to help its residents sign up, than in places like the District of Columbia, which embraced the law’s goals. And that’s not even factoring in the faulty federal website impeding the project in more than 30 states..

Thanks for the correction re: Virgina. Actually, it’s *West* Virgina that has an Exchange. I substituted “Kentucky” in the post.

It appears Salon.com came to the same conclusion as me, but added a few more examples of sabotage:

    http://www.salon.com/2013/10/26/gop_shares_blame_for_obamacare_glitches/

They point out how the Republican Battle Cry has been “the states can do it better!”, but when given a chance to create their own health care exchanges, 26 Red states left it up to the Federal Government.

I wish I had said that.

It does appear that the REICH may be hacking into the government’s webpage in order to ensure that the ACA will be a failure.  At a Congressional hearing this past week, Roberta Stempfley, acting assistant secretary of the Department of
Homeland Security’s Office of Cyber-security and Communications, confirmed at least 16 attacks on the Affordable Care Act’s portal Healthcare.gov website in 2013.http://www.examiner.com/article/right-wing-cyber-attacks-on-healthcare-gov-website-confirmed?cid=db_articles
